I make a SUP and one-person kayak available for use with this rental, but unfortunately, lake patrol enforces with hefty fines boat registration even for kayaks and SUP. The boat registrations requires going to the Arrowhead Lake Association office, getting a picture taken, passing a safety test, and paying $60 PER PERSON, therefore most guests will probably not go to the trouble unless they come back to Lake Arrowhead often, in which case renewals are just $30 and only needed every 3 years. Please do not bring your own kayaks, paddleboards, or any inflatable boat with an oar as these are required to be registered and registrations are only given out to owners of real estate in Lake Arrowhead within a 1 mile radius of the lake. This is our Lovely Mountain Lake Home with a wrap-around deck that is a 3 min walk to the Lake! I hand-painted the living room accent wall and installed beautiful new floors in the living room, kitchen and main floor bathroom. It's a wonderful place all year round and is a short 5 min drive to Lake Arrowhead Village or a peaceful 25 min walk on the private lake trail. Skypark/Santa's Village is nearby as is Bear Mountain and Snow Valley Ski Resorts! It's a peaceful place to relax and reconnect with family and friends. We have a gas grill on the deck available for use and Fire TV in the living room and main floor bedroom. The kitchen is light and spacious with seating for eight.The main house is yours to enjoy with the exceptions of the owner's closet in the main floor bedroom (there are 2 other closets to use) and the owner's pantry in the kitchen. The lower level basement is not part of the rental. If you are interested in booking a reservation, but all of you're days aren't available on the calendar, message me because it may be blocked due to cleaning and I may be able to work with you. The Palisades neighborhood is one of the nicest in Lake Arrowhead. There is a private lake trail that you can use with this rental. The gate has a code to get to the trail as do all the gates around the lake and you will have to carry a photo of the ALA card with you when you are on the trails. They do have people sometimes checking for this card on the trails.

This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cabin is the perfect vacation rental. We provide all the amenities for a memorable vacation. Actually 4 levels as the 5th bedroom/studio apt is on a split level of it's own to the side with it's own entrance and deck. This allows a lot of flexibility & privacy as different family/friend groups within your party can each can have a floor & their own bathroom! There are three fireplaces, Two Air Conditioning units in the main house, central heating, decks, lovely forest views, fire pit (limited) and more. It is close to SKY PARK/SANTA'S VILLAGE (1.8 mi), Lake Gregory (8.9 mi), GREEN VALLEY LAKE (14 mi), and BIG BEAR LAKE (24 mi) It is situated on a safe, level, snow-plowed, cul-de-sac street. It is just a 5 minute walk from the house toward the lake & another 10 minute walk to the village with all it's amenities. Or just 1 mi by car! A/C: we recently installed A/C in the upper level which cools down the main area of the house when needed. It rarely gets hot in Lake Arrowhead & the lower rooms usually stay cool year round. There is a large ceiling fan in the living room as well as in the two master bedrooms, and portable fans for the other bedrooms if needed. A few things to note: - The bonus loft area can sleep 2 singles (there are 2 click/clack sofa beds) and the tiny but charming bonus room in the eaves with a single bed - good for a child, teen or small adult - it is adjacent to the upstairs master bedroom. This room is LOADED with constructive toys. You can’t tell very well in the pictures but we have added a big dining table for family dinners, an expensive & lovely leather sectional in the living room with a queen pull out bed. The 5th (or 6th if counting the small eaves one) bedroom is a separate guest studio apartment under the garage. It is very private & shares no common walls with the main house. It has a separate entrance and deck with views - but is also connected to the main house by a network of decks in the back. It has a mini kitchen, stone fireplace, desk, sectional sofa, smart tv & dvd player. The bathroom has a Japanese soaking tub! (The tub may not be suitable for everyone, such as children & people with mobility issues who may have difficulty stepping into & out of it. There is a grab bar, which helps). PETS: There is a fee of $50 per dog/pet. (Please let us know if you have more than 1 pet.) Please contact us if you have larger dogs or other pets. Pets are not allowed on any of the beds or furniture because of pet hair etc. There is a nice laundry room which has an opening to the house downstairs, as well as a door leading out to the deck and yard. Please pick up after your pets both outside or if there are accidents in the house. (Note that it's rare but we have had to charge for additional cleaning and damages.) PARTIES MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS. (This includes any additional daytime guests who are not in the booking party. Thanks.) NOISE: This is a VERY peaceful neighborhood and we ask that you please be mindful of the neighbors when out on the decks and with regards to music etc.. Especially before 9:00am and after 9:00pm. PARKING: There is parking for 3-4 CARS ONLY in the driveway. Parking is NOT allowed at all on the street per the city. You can be towed. If you have more vehicles or can’t fit them in the parking space in front of the garage, you should be prepared to park the extra ones at the village (1 mi away) where there is covered parking and cars can be left overnight without charge, if necessary. If you are there in the winter & there is snow, you may need to clear space for your car & a pathway to the house. SECURITY CAMERA: There is a camera installed outside the front of the house at the request of the city because of complaints from the neighbors of guests parking in the street. On the top floor there is also a loft with 2 "click clack" couches that turn into beds a small & cozy attic small bonus bedroom off the loft with a comfy single bed. You can find bedding on the upper floor for the sofa beds in the big red trunk. MAIN FLOOR: There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor: ~ "the pirate room". This room has bunk beds. (min 150 lbs) ~ the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The couch in the living room is a queen sofa bed. NEARBY ACTIVITIES: THE VILLAGE is a great place to spend the day shopping, dining and playing along the beautiful lake front. Kids' park, playground, outlet shops, concerts! Please use extreme caution on the driveway and steps down to the studio as the temperatures can get very cold & ice & snow may be present. If you are heading up with snow in the forecast or right after snowfall, please be prepared for these eventualities. We’re finally ready to share our beautiful lakefront cabin with a few other people! Our cabin is freshly remodeled top-to-bottom with all brand new flooring, furnishings, walls (got rid of the old wood paneling), lighting, appliances, arcade games, full gym, and so much more! This lakefront cabin was previously owned by the old Western actor, Dennis Weaver, of “Gunsmoke” and “McCloud” fame. Every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, tv, and fireplace. You enter our home from the street level (three parking deck spaces including one with a Tesla charger!) into the main living room, kitchen, and dining room. A newly finished garage off the kitchen and a powder room off the main entry is also on this main level. The top level features a gorgeous master suite, master bathroom with huge shower, and a loft with two cozy chairs which each fold out into a twin sized bed. One level down is the bedrooms level—two guest bedrooms with queen sized beds and a children’s bunk room. All three guest bedrooms have lake views, balcony access, their own bathroom ensuite, and their own fireplace. The fireplaces are all gas with remote to start the crackling fire--no fumbling with lighters or wood! The basement level features a fully-appointed gym, an arcade console game and pinball machine, a new laundry room, and a newly-added home theater room with massage chairs and a fold-out couch. The basement patio also includes a new hot tub and gate to the lake. This is our family’s beloved cabin to which we drive up from our Pasadena-area home on a near-weekly basis. We’ve been sharing our cabin with friends and family for the past few months as we finished all the final little projects, but with social distancing we don’t get to host our loved ones as much as we’d like. Our cabin now meets our exacting standards and is ready to rent out occasionally. This is NOT a professionally managed rental. You will find food in the pantry and freezer (feel free to use a few things and leave a few things), All-Clad and Le Creuset cookware in the kitchen, our kids’ toys neatly accessible, etc. We have locked off a couple closets, our cabin office room, and the garage, but this really is our vacation HOME to which we’re opening up to you. It’s truly a luxurious, high-end cabin with every amenity. Our cabin is lakefront. Our cabin is across from Lone Pine Island on the south side of the lake on Greenway Drive. However, Lake Arrowhead is a private lake (unlike Big Bear Lake, for example) governed by the Arrowhead Lake Association (the ALA). As of a couple months ago, a new rule does not allow any of our renting guests to access our dock, the lake, or any ALA property. The ALA charges a hefty $1,000 fine if our renting guests access any ALA property (like the lakefront trail or lake itself). A fully-refundable deposit covers this hopefully-never-happens fine, but we all need to follow the rules. As we’re right on the water, all four levels of our cabin have beautiful lake views and, when it’s quiet, you can even hear the lapping of the waves and quacking ducks! The Lake Arrowhead Village nearby provides lots of public spaces and walking paths to enjoy. And there are still wonderful trails available through the San Bernardino county park system, as well. Our cabin is across from Lone Pine Island on the south side of the lake on Greenway Drive. The Village and Stater Bro's grocery store are a short walk or drive our cabin. Jensen's grocery store (more like a Whole Foods or Bristol Farms) is a short drive in the other direction. Once life gets back to normal after the pandemic, there are a whole host of restaurants, shops, and festivals in The Village and nearby. We welcome only non-smoking guests as this is a truly no-smoking, no-vaping property. No smoking outside; no smoking on the deck; no smoking by the lake; no smoking across the street; no smoking in your car; no smoking anywhere! Parking is the three spaces on our front parking deck (one of which has a Tesla charger) so we have to limit group size and number of cars to just three (and even that's a tight squeeze!) Sadly, we can’t allow pets. We love dogs and even have goldendoodle puppy (a hypoallergenic breed) of our own. But given our brand new white wool carpet, fresh remodel, dog-allergic family members, and experience with our own super-well-behaved-and-mellow dogs damaging rental homes in the past (ask us to tell you the story from our wedding 8 years ago when we rented a bunch of cabins in Yosemite and dealt with all sorts of pet antics!) we are just not allowing pets in our cabin. So sorry! Unlike many of even the high-end properties in Lake Arrowhead, our cabin is fully air conditioned. We've even added additional mini-split units (both AC and heat) to keep the ideal temperature in every room at all times (particularly in the gym and master bedroom). Usually the fresh, cool mountain air blowing through the windows is sufficient to keep things comfortable, but for those warm summer days and frigid winter nights, we've got you covered!
